This whole apologizing for competing in an NBA game thing has gotten ridiculous

It's another day that ends in "day" so someone is complaining about a team playing basketball for all 48 minutes. The most recent NBA apology/ someone ask for an apology moment has Joe Mazzulla apologizing to Andre Drummond for trying to actually coach and take advantage of his oppoenent's weaknesses. The main reason that Andre Drummond went from young budding NBA star to journeyman back-up center is because he can't shoot. That's what derailed his career. A coach is allowed to not play him because of this, but apparently the opposing coach can't foul him due to it. Especiallyif there is alr ..read more

The Boston Celtics have advanced to the Quarterfinals of the In-Season Tournament thanks to a 124-97 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night. Boston entered the night needing to win by at least 23 while requiring a Brooklyn win against Toronto. As a result of both of those happening, the Celtics have won Group C in the Eastern Conference. The Boston Celtics are on a mission to secure their first National Basketball Association (NBA) title since the 2007/08 season when they beat the Los Angeles Lakers to the punch. The Celtics have struggled to reclaim their place at the pinnacle of the NBA since their title-winning campaign but have shown signs of being a rejuvenated side over the last couple of years. They came close in 2021/22, pushing the Golden State Warriors to six games in the NBA Finals. Last season brought more heartbreak as they were defeated by Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. Under head coach Joe Mazzull ..read more

Three of Celtics top 6 on injury report for Bulls game

As you already know Kristaps Porzingis is out for this week at a bare minimum. Unfortunately Brad Stevens' other major offseason addition Jrue Holiday is still being listed as QUESTIONABLE, so he very likely could be missing his third straight game tomorrow versus the Bulls due to his ankle sprain. Derrick White is being listed as "PROBABLE" so hopefully he can at least play. If he can't, Mazzulla can either throw Pritchard into the starting back-court with Banton or shift Jaylen Brown into White's spot and start either Hauser, Brissett, or Stevens at a forward spot. #NEBHInjuryReport for t ..read more

The Boston Celtics will need a big to step up this season, especially with Kristaps Porzings on the shelf. Will it be Neemias Queta? Well he was active out on the court versus the Hawks and made a good enough impression that Joe Mazzulla played him 15 minutes as Al Horford's back-up (Luke Kornet played just 9 minutes). Queta finished with 7 points and 10 rebounds in the game. After the game Mazzulla said he was still experimenting with line-ups, but don't be surprised if you see Queta get about 15 minutes again Tuesday night when the Boston Celtics host the Chicago Bulls. The Boston Celtics bounced back from their loss on Friday, defeating the Atlanta Hawks 113-103 on Sunday night. This was an outstanding defensive performance from the Celtics, holding the Number 2 scoring offense in the league to just 103 points. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the way, with JT scoring 34 points and pulling down 9 boards, while JB added 21 points and 7 rebounds. Derrick White added a great spark with 15 points, 11 assists, and a team-high +29 in a 10-point victory.  The story of the night was the Celtic defense.
