This is the first modern German main combat tank in more than 40 years. The KF51, or “Panther,” is loaded to the gills with cutting-edge innovations such a more powerful main gun, a computerized computer network, and advanced armor. The Panther can even defend against “top-attack” missiles like the Javelin missile, an American-made weapon that is wreaking havoc on Putin’s forces in Ukraine.
Germany’s Rheinmetall displayed their KF51 Panther fighter jet at France’s Eurosatory arms expo on Monday. The event occurs every two years and serves as a platform for European armaments manufacturers to p ..read more

On July 18, escorted by two U.S. missile destroyers, the 170-meter long Ohio-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine Kentucky docked at a pier in the port city of Busan, South Korea, at the southeastern tip of the Korean peninsula.
In an effort to show the United States’ “ironclad commitment” to extending nuclear deterrence to South Korea, the United States sent a submarine capable of launching intercontinental-range nuclear missiles for the first time in 42 years. Submarine tour guests included South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol, his wife, and members of the local press.

Midway through the 1960s, the Tupolev Tu-22M ‘Backfire’ strategic bomber was designed to surmount the formidable air defenses surrounding U.S. aircraft carriers and NATO military bases. Each Tu-22M3 costs the equivalent of millions of dollars to enhance the survivability of the attacking aircraft should World War III break out. Each is equipped with swing-wings and NK-25 turbofan engines, enabling it to race at twice the speed of sound and graze the surface at lesser velocities.
But recently, the fearsome Soviet bomber met its match in combat, in the form of quadcopter hobby/camera drones—on ..read more

Arms control experts have been combing through the broken wreckage of the Iranian-built Shahed-136 and Shahed-131 kamikaze drones used by Russia in daily assaults on Ukrainian cities for some time. However, autopsies of delta-wing drones shot down in July revealed something new: Shahed drones are constructed in Russia, not Iran.
In Russian service, the Shaheds are known as Geran-2s and had a cruising speed of 75 miles per hour. Ukrainian defenses now routinely shoot down the large majority of daily drone attacks—and in some cases, all of them. Russia, on the other hand, is playing a numbers ga ..read more

A large formation of aircraft from the United States Air Force, the Royal Air Force, and the Australian Air Force refueled in the dark before heading into battle.
Fighters of the fourth generation from all three countries worked in tandem with an E-8 Joint STARS command and control plane. This included American F-16 Fighting Falcons, British F-15 Eagles, and European Eurofighter Typhoons. Both F-22 Raptors and F-35 Joint Strike Fighters, in the company of their stealthy escorts, examined the battlefield.
As soon as the formation was being “painted” by several radar arrays connected to surface ..read more
