A woman is recovering after being bitten by a snake outside her mother's Wildomar home earlier this week. The woman's mother, Denise Silva, told KTLA her daughter still has a lot of swelling and is in a lot of pain after the red diamond rattlesnake bit her on her toe. The daughter, Tonya, was walking up to the home Tuesday when the snake struck. "She shook her foot and it went back underneath," Silva explained. Authorities are investigating after a 16-year-old boy was shot and killed in Riverside County on Monday. The victim has not been identified by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies first received reports of a shooting near Melinda Lane and Corydon Road in Wildomar around 4:47 p.m. When authorities arrived, neither the victim nor any suspects were found. The Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station on Tuesday afternoon sought help finding the owner of a bull found roaming the streets of Wildomar earlier in the day. Deputies were dispatched to a report of a bull running down a section of Grand Avenue and located the large animal, according to a post on the Sheriff’s Station’s Facebook page. They corralled the bull with the help of Animal Friends of the Valleys, the post stated. He was then taken to a ranch.
