This guy plans to jump out of an airplane 300 times in 24 hours. Kevin Burkart skydives for Parkinson's Disease – he has already raised thousands of dollars and completed 151 skydives in one day. On Tuesday, the Prior Lake man will attempt "300 imperfect jumps" to set a world record and raise more money for the disease. And oh yeah, he only has one working arm. The heavy rain and strong winds of the past several days have soaked many communities, flooded homes and businesses and done damage to a number of facilities. One of the latest casualties is the roof of an elementary school in Morris, part of which collapsed after heavy rains Friday night, according to WCCO. There's a 15 foot-by-20 foot hole in the roof of St. Mary’s School, which is part of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Morris, school officials said. Some strong storms moved through Minnesota this afternoon and evening. A line of storms swept from west to east in the metro area, and although they were not severe, they dumped large amounts of rain in some spots. The photo below, from Sharon Stiteler, was taken at 32nd and Aldrich in Minneapolis, which also flooded during last week's heavy rains. No one was hurt and no animals were injured when the clubhouse at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake burned to the ground Tuesday morning. There were no people in the building at the time the fire broke out and the club’s kennels and stables are located far enough away from the clubhouse that there was no damage to those structures, the Star Tribune reports. The country group was due to headline the festival Saturday night. Country band Lady A has canceled its planned headline performance at the Lakefront Music Fest in Prior Lake, which is taking place Saturday night.
