Drone delivery has always been part of the chain’s goals.
Customers in Logan, QLD and Gungahlin, Canberra can now get Vietnamese food from Roll’d via drones.
The Vietnamese chain announced it had teamed up with Wing, the company operated by Google-parent Alphabet, to deliver its banh mi (baguettes), bao (steamed buns), rice paper rolls and others via drones in the said areas. Wing also mentioned the partnership with the fast food chain through their official LinkedIn page.

New Zealand fast food company Restaurant Brands saw total sales for the year ended 31 December 2021 at $1.06 billion, an $175.9 million increase of $175.9 million (19.7%) from 2020 primarily due to the performance of its KFC stores in California.
The fourth quarter of their financial year saw total sales at $284 million, 5.5% more than the equivalent period last year.
