Marriages in our Indian culture is glorified in a manner that more often than not it is considered bigger than one’s career, dreams, and aspirations in their life. The institution of marriage is considered sacred and regarded as the ultimate achievement especially in a women’s life. The story that gave shape to the belief I hold on to today, that thought of not getting familiar with the concept of adjusting. The story that has beckoned me to not accept the world as it is, rather set my own rules and ways to live my life and explore what I want, what I desire.
It has been a story that has encouraged me to create a whole new version of a story for myself and refused to become that puppet defined by the so-called society as “Ideal”.

None of the paths ever lead me back to who I used to be, just made me explore myself at every turn. Sometimes a strong version, some other time a weak, dependent, emotional one as well. Indeed I love that spark of madness within me to keep moving forward and never stop because that’s something inevitable in me.
Starting a journey of knitting emotions, pain, experiences into words. I’m sure it’s going to just like a roller coaster ride as it’s an unjust world and that would require me to toughen up. It’s literally blissful re-defining the conventionally right notions of everyday life. Striving ..read more
