LAKE HAVASU CITY – As water levels at both Glen Canyon and Lake Mead continue to decline due to the ongoing Colorado River drought, western states are going to be in dire need of new ways to produce more electricity. Currently, both dams each produce around 4 billion kilowatt-hours of hydroelectric power yearly for use in several western States, including Arizona. While a complete shutdown of the dam’s hydropower turbines won’t completely shut down the electrical grid for the western United States, it will cause a rise in rates. Lakes Powell and Mead have fallen to one-third of their capacity ..read more

He makes promises to us: to love us, to forgive our sins, to give us the gift of salvation, to help us unpack our baggage, to be with us always, to give us eternal life. And, as is the ca ..read more
