A Los Angeles County trucking business has been named in federal court documents related to the seizure of hundreds of thousands of dollars and hundreds of pounds of marijuana by authorities. The company, Star Light Logistics from Diamond Bar, is the registered owner of two semi trucks that were found to each carry more than $300,000 in cash, according to a court filing first reported by Seamus Hughes' Court Watch. A person was arrested after two women were found dead in a Diamond Bar senior assisted living facility on Saturday. The suspect, Jianchun Li, is employed as a live-in caretaker at the home, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Authorities responded to the 23800 block of Sapphire Canyon Road around 8 a.m. and found two female adults deceased inside the "Happy Home Care For Elderly" facility. Three people have been arrested in connection with a November home invasion that occurred in Diamond Bar, officials announced Thursday. During the Nov. 14, 2022 incident, the suspects allegedly forced an elderly couple into the living room at gunpoint and placed shirts over their heads, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. A Mega Millions lottery ticket sold in Diamond Bar Friday night matched five correct numbers, resulting in a ticket worth more than $1.5 million. The ticket, sold at a Circle K on North Diamond Bar Boulevard, matched all five winning numbers of 61-19-8-53-69, missing only the Mega number of 19, the California Lottery announced Saturday. A small brush fire in the Diamond Bar area was threatening homes and shut down lanes of the 60 Freeway late Monday morning. The blaze was reported about 11:35 a.m. when a semi truck somehow caught fire along the westbound 60 Freeway near Phillips Ranch Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities are searching for a pair of home-invasion robbers who left a resident injured in Diamond Bar Thursday morning. A crash in Diamond Bar on the eastbound 60 freeway left one man dead and three others injured early Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
