(CBSLA) The blaze was first reported at 2:25 a.m. in the 300 block of South Prospectors Road, near Golden Springs Road. Cell phone video showed huge flames and smoke engulfing the complex. LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – The Walnut Valley Water District issued water restrictions Tuesday in response to the state’s ongoing drought situation. The WVWD Board of Directors declared a level 2 water shortage, which calls for a 20% drop in water use. The Walnut Valley Water District has about 100,000 customers in parts of Diamond Bar, Walnut, the City of Industry, Pomona, West Covina and an unincorporated area of Rowland Heights. LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Dozens of homes have been red-tagged for structural damage in Diamond Bar, but residents believe that it’s really an attempt at a land grab. City inspectors red and yellow tagged 150 homes at Diamond Bar Village, giving the families inside just over two weeks to pack up and get out. Officers responded at approximately 3:04 a.m. to the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway just east of Grand Avenue where a Toyota had flipped onto its roof, according to the California Highway Patrol. DIAMOND BAR (CBSLA) – Neighbors in Diamond Bar woke up to crime scene tape and a lot questions as word quickly spread that two people were killed inside their home. Investigators said it is a mother and her adult son who died.
