Broward Sheriff’s Office firefighters battled a blaze Friday morning after several tractor trailers were engulfed in flames in the parking lot of a business in Dania Beach, officials said. Deputies in Dania Beach tried to take a man into custody Monday when he ran off and climbed into a tree, authorities said. The suspect has since been identified as Christian Cisnero, 26. It started when Broward Sheriff’s deputies attempted to take Cisnero into custody on a felony warrant for dealing Methamphetamine. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating a late night crash involving a Brightline train and a vehicle in Dania Beach. According to authorities, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, at Dixie Highway and Southwest 16th Street. A video shared on Only in Dade shows the moment the Brightline train hits the vehicle head-on causing sparks along the train tracks. Authorities are investigating an apparently random murder-suicide shooting at a gas station in Dania Beach that left a child and the gunman dead and sent a third person to the hospital late Thursday night. The shooting took place just after 11 p.m. at a 7-Eleven in the 800 block of Stirling Road, Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said. A suspected burglar who barricaded himself inside a Dania Beach home after fleeing from deputies was taken into custody Thursday, officials said. Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said deputies were investigating a burglary around 10 a.m. when the suspect fled into a home in the 600 block of West Dania Beach Boulevard. Authorities are investigating a shooting in Dania Beach that left a man hospitalized Tuesday morning. The shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. near the 200 block of Northwest 9th Avenue. Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said deputies responded and found the man who’d been shot. The man was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His identity wasn’t released.
