Moroccan side RS Berkane has been awarded a 3-0 win walkover against host USM Alger of Algeria for their last Sunday CAF Confed Cup  1st leg of the semi final. The committee for the organization of the interclub competition and the management of the club licensing system,met on Wednesday, April 24, 2024,and  awarded Berkane a 3-0 win  with  the return leg set for the 28th of this month at the Berkane Municipal stadium in Morocco.   Two Premier League footballers have been arrested in connection with an alleged rape. The pair – both aged 19 – were released on bail after being interviewed by police. The players are at the same club, which declined to comment on the allegations. “Officers have arrested two men following a report of a rape,” a police spokesperson said. “A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and aiding and abetting a rape. Governor Johnson Sakaja has directed the evacuation of more than 3,000 Nairobi residents affected the ongoing rains to temporary shelters.
