AMR CD-77 vs Wadia 381i

Only live fish swim upstream. Remembered that when, around 10 years ago, I reviewed, side by side, two major top-end CD Players, Wadia 381i from USA, and AMR CD-77 from the UK. At the time of the launch… Source ..read more

What a hoax! A thousand dollars! Of course I got interested! Source ..read more

We may agree that it is a most refreshing experience to visit a live concert be it of any genre: symphony, organ, jazz, rock or other. After a pleasing concert night, turning on one’s high quality Hi-Fi system leads to a disappointment: the magic of the concert is more or less gone – once again. Despite the fact that all the work by great designers around Hi-Fi during past eighty years or so has... Source ..read more

Over the years, I’ve heard Wilson Audio’s loudspeakers, smaller and bigger models, here and there, often together with VTL electronics but not only. However, those events have been public in nature, such as Hi-Fi Shows and other open demonstrations, never quiet peaceful situations where one could genuinely, with no stress or other disturbance, concentrate on the true qualities of the speaker in...
