(KMIZ) Two people suffered minor injuries after a 2009 Dodge Charger crashed into a school bus in Jefferson City on Monday, according to a crash report from the Jefferson City Police Department. No injuries were reported for the driver or four students on the bus, according to the report. The students were released to their parents at the scene, the report says. COLE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ) A Jefferson City man was flown to University Hospital after being hit by a car while riding a bike. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened on Route C at Vintage Point at 9:40 p.m. Sunday. According to the online crash report, Christopher Phillips, 50, was on a bike in the road when he was hit by a Buick Enclave driven by Detra Thomas Randall, 56, of Jefferson City. (KMIZ) Two people suffered moderate and minor injuries in a Friday crash on westbound Highway 50/63 at Clark Avenue, according to a crash report from the Jefferson City Police Department. According to the report, the crash occurred after Jacob Holtkamp, 18, of Vandalia, lost control of a 2006 Mazda 3 while he was in the driving lane. The release states that MU Health will close its urgent care location on Eastland Drive on Sunday. According to the Jefferson City Police Department, Michael Robbins, 53 of Mexico, was driving eastbound on Highway 54 when he lost control entering the curve. On Friday, Jefferson City Fire Department responded to an apartment fire and rescued a victim found on the second floor.
