Two people are hurt after a car ran into a school bus in Jefferson City.
The car driver, McCaila Wright of Jefferson City, turned on Dix Road from Industrial Drive. Police say she then lost control and hit the bus in the intersection.
Wright and her passenger only suffered minor injuries.

Columbia Parks and Recreation will take out another homeless camp at Broadway and Old 63 today.
MoDOT cleaned up a homeless camp in March along I-70 near the Providence Rd. intersection. The city also had to clear out one camp near the area twice within the past year.

Missouri’s governor says describes the approximately 5,000 high school students who attended the state FFA convention in Columbia as the future of agriculture, Missouri, and the nation.
Governor Mike Parson drew thunderous applause from the students Friday afternoon at the Hearnes Center, when he asked them if they’re proud to wear their blue jackets. The governor tells 939 the Eagle he’s proud of them.

Columbia’s hotels, restaurants and shops have been packed, as more than 5,000 high school students who are part of FFA attend the 96th annual State FFA convention.
Mizzou senior Grant Norfleet has been at the Hearnes Center: he’s from mid-Missouri’s Mexico and serves as the national secretary for the National FFA. Centralia high school FFA advisor Scott Stone tells 939 the Eagle’s “Wake Up Mid-Missouri” that Grant is a phenomenal individual.

A homeless man faces assault and other charges after he allegedly pushed a woman off of a bridge in a Fulton park.
48 – year old Timothy Stewart is charged with domestic assault and property damage.
Fulton police were called to Memorial Park Wednesday and found the woman lying in the creek.
The woman said Stewart pushed her off the walking bridge.
