The Lehi City Council was presented with a proposal on Tuesday, Feb. 29 to bring back the Railroad Depot Museum located at 225 E State Street by the Stice Family.  “We would like to thank the city of Lehi and the Lehi Historic Preservation Committee for preserving, restoring and maintaining this historic depot. Y2 Analytics presented Lehi City leaders with the results of the 2024 resident survey at Tuesday’s city council meeting. The annual survey sheds light on key concerns, satisfaction levels, and shifting perspectives so the City Council and staff understand current thinking among Lehi residents. The media parking area was just feet from the Children’s Emergency Entrance. As I stepped into the building, I was immediately struck by its bright, happy interior. A house was destroyed in a fire on Sunday afternoon at 421 W 1800 N in Lehi. “At around 3:30 p.m Lehi Fire units along with Lehi Police, Lone Peak Fire, and American Fork Fire were dispatched to a working residential structure fire. LEHI, UT (December 16, 2023)- Lehi City Police Department celebrated their 18th annual Kids, Cops, and Christmas event Saturday, December 16th. Local kids joined several Lehi officers for breakfast, shopping, and gift wrapping. The Lehi City Council is set to approve a contract with Colorado-based Design Workshop for a creation of a master parks and recreation plan during Tuesday’s City Council meeting. The contract will last 18 months, and Design Workshop will be paid $304,730, primarily for surveys, consulting services and park and facility recommendations. The study will also suggest funding strategies. On Friday, Nov. 17, Lehi City received a large shipment from Ice America — supplies to build a temporary outdoor ice-skating rink in under a week. Shawn Winters, Assistant Director of the Lehi Parks Department, has been directing the project for the last several months leading up to this week of preparation and the skating rink’s grand opening on Friday, Nov. 24.  Located at the west end of the Lehi Sports Complex, the rink will be open through Jan. 26, 2024, except Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Sundays. After several years of development, the Lehi City Dog Park at Willow Park is ready for dogs. The park was in disrepair but has significantly improved over the last year. It was first created in 2012 when American Fork resident Parker Wimmer worked with Utah County to build the dog park as his Eagle Scout project. Lehi City leased the 44 acres in Willow Park from Utah County in 2020 and has been making improvements around the area, including the dog park and a new office and maintenance building for the City Parks Department.
