Yep, I am still here, my attention is on food….oh so much. :) Well, I have been out of the hospital a little over a month and still staying away from Politics except occasionally likely a friends post or making a quick comment. My focus remains my health and it ain’t been easy. I have had a home health nurse coming out once or twice a week since I got out of the hospital as well as an occupational and a physical therapist. I have a huge problem with a “religious” nation, regardless of which religion is in control. That does not mean that I think Jews should be unsafe. I think they should be safe, which for the most part they are in the United States for example. Not perfectly, of course. There are people in this country who hate Jews because they are Jews. This last Christmas day, it was Bishop William Barber plan to attend a showing of the Color Purple at his local AMC theater. With his disability with a rare form of arthritis, he has to have a special chair to sit in. His hips and part of neck and spine are fused so he has lost mobility. However, although he has taken that special chair to all sorts of places, including the White House he was told that he was a fire hazard for where he was. ere I am, early morning, Dec 31, 2023 on the internet. Yeah, I am a night owl, and anymore I am pretty much only moving around when everybody else is either asleep or thinking about winding down and going to sleep. There are personal reasons for this, in that I have had two bouts of skin cancer and in order to go in the sun, I need to wear long sleeve shirts, long pants, put on a hat and rub 50 spf sunscreen on any area that is going to be hit by the sun. We watch the House and all the confusion and infighting within their party with the MAGA cult running amuck and generally causing trouble at every opportunity.
