The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in identifying three men who allegedly stole credit cards in Rowland Heights earlier this month. According to a news release, the three men took two credit cards and cash from a car in the 17000 block of East Colima Road on March 8, then bought nine gift cards worth $200 each using the stolen credit cards. The alleged thieves were captured on security footage that day. Authorities are searching for two missing girls who disappeared in Rowland Heights on Saturday. The sisters, Adrianna Villegas, 12, and Isabella Villegas, 14, were last seen on the 17800 block of Colima Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Authorities say the girls left together and possibly headed to a location on the 12200 block of Magnolia Street in El Monte. A burglary in Rowland Heights that was captured on a home security system has rattled its victim. “I feel so mad," burglary victim Shinmann Wang said. "I don’t want to get emotional, but I just feel so violated." An investigation is underway into the shooting death of a 30-year-old man who was found in a Rowland Heights intersection early Sunday morning. Deputies responded to the area of Colima and Fullerton roads after getting a call about shots fired just before 2:40 a.m., according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department news release. Authorities were investigating the circumstances around two men found dead in Rowland Heights Wednesday night. Deputies responded to a rescue call around 7:50 p.m. on the 18000 block of Villa Clara Street, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. A kidnapping suspect was shot and killed by deputies after ramming a Sheriff’s Department vehicle in Rowland Heights and injuring a deputy late Sunday night, authorities said. A man who worked as the vice president of a Puente Hills little league team was sentenced to nine years and four months in prison after pleading no contest to molesting three boys, officials announced Tuesday. A man who worked as the vice president of a Puente Hills little league team pleaded no contest to molesting three boys, officials announced Friday. Carlton Harris, 48, of Rowland Heights, entered his plea to one count of a lewd act on a child under 14 and two counts of lewd act on a child age 14 or 15, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
