Being a good parent isn’t easy all the times. Millions of us have been granted leave or are working from home. We are trying to tackle a combination of home schooling and playtime with work and Zoom calls.
Cleaning their mess the whole day is also a challenge that we are facing each day. To add cherry on the ice cream their endless Desire to Eat list is always on the table.
After fulfilling all their needs, as a token of appreciation we come to hear:
आपके के पास तो मेरे लिए टाइम ही नहीं है।
आप तो मेरे साथ खेलते ही नहीं हो।
में किसके साथ खेलू।
में क्या खेलू।
And so on ...

With easing corona virus lockdown restrictions in India and across the globe, the death rate is rising each day and no vaccine yet being invented to treat this pandemic disease.
With more people returning back to work, there will be more people outside as compared to earlier where people moved only for immediate households.
Government has advised people to wear a face covering in enclosed spaces where social distancing is not always possible. Face covering doesn’t need to be a surgical grade mask. It could be simply something that covers your mouth and nose.

Is your child a T.V. lover?
Let’s be truthful, I know the answer is yes. Even in my case it is just the same. With trending nuclear family system and single child parenting, kids get isolated. They have no one to play with and more importantly they don’t want to adjust.
Playing with same toys or indulging in same activity may not work best to keep them involved for a longer period of time. Even they require a break from their normal routine.
Let’s utilize their T.V. time in movie watching. It can be a fun activity alone or with family members. These movies are not only entertaining ..read more

The right to play is considered as a universal right of children. It is fundamental for child’s well being. Play is one of the most important ways in which child learns.
Because of its crucial importance we as parents should allow them to play as much as they want but under supervision. This could be best done by introducing more of interactive activities wherein you as a parent are involved in it.
According to me play could be broadly divided into following categories along with its importance and related activities:
Category
Importance
Activities

Yes, you are correct. Kids require a daily routine apart from brushing teeth during Lockdown. Timetable helps to make the child scheduled and disciplined. Being in this lockdown situation for more than two months has made each of us lazy & inactive and have no idea how long it will continue.
Even if the lockdown opens, social distancing remains the same. Forget about taking your child to parks, gardens, malls. It is just in dreams.
There is worse to come. Now with the approach of summer vacations kids won’t be having their live classes as well.
That means
No Live Classes

What is quality time?
Is it any time spend with our kids?
If your answer is ‘Yes’ then I am sorry to say you are wrong. Quality time is not any timespent with your child. If this would have been the correct answer then we almost spend 15 – 16 hrs around them.
Quality time is the time dedicated only to kids. No gadgets, no other thoughts, only you and your child or family. It could be as minimum as ½ an hour, but dedicated to kids.
I understand now-a-days life has become very busy, especially when it comes to both parent working. In this dedicating ½ an hour to kids that to without any gadg ..read more

The most common dividends used in this game are:
Early 5

2ndLine

For this lockdown I have planned a Housie apt to the situation. I have tried giving the same housie a new lockdown twist. Do try with your friends and kids... it will be fun.

The best way to bring up a child is the way you are bringing them up.
No one can bring up your child the way you do. You directly connect with the child, you bond with them, you are the parent, so you are the best. A parent actually knows what the child requires and knows how to handle the situation the best possible way.
What others can do is just give suggestion.
