Troy, NY – Mayor Patrick Madden issued an update regarding severe temperatures that are expected to impact the Capital region beginning early Friday morning and well into the day on Saturday.
Temperatures well below zero degrees will be accompanied by strong winds, adding wind chill factors that may be dangerous. Troy residents are encouraged to prepare for sub-freezing temperatures and wind chills of -30 to -35 degrees. Preparedness and precaution are encouraged.

Troy, NY – Drinking water quality monitoring conducted by the Troy Public Utilities department has found elevated levels of lead in some of the 60 homes and buildings tested around the City of Troy. The City of Troy Department of Public Utilities is required to perform water sample testing to continually ensure the safety of our drinking water.
