SAN CLEMENTE (CBSLA) — Authorities need the public’s help to identify a peeping tom who has been on the loose in San Clemente over the past year. Since March of 2021, sheriff’s officials say a man has been entering multiple properties in the 200 block of Avenida Miramar in San Clemente to look into the bedroom windows of women. Authorities say the man covers motion sensors on outdoor lights and disconnects other lighting when he enters a property. SAN CLEMENTE (CBSLA) – Scott Karsten, a 60-year-old man from San Clemente, was on his way back from a run to Circle K before going missing. It’s been almost a month since Karsten was last seen and his family told CBSLA Reporter Sara Donchey that it lost precious time due to a mix-up by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. SAN CLEMENT (CBSLA) – A human waste problem at a popular Orange County pier has been contaminating the water for years, and San Clemente officials are tying to figure out what’s causing the issue.
