BAYONNE, NJ -A call came in to the dispatcher Wednesday reporting a car crash with multiple people hurt. The dispatcher tried to calm the caller and get the necessary information that would allow her to send the appropriate units. People were bleeding, some may not have been breathing, one of the cars involved in the crash was upside down. BAYONNE, NJ – Aidan Paradine drove in three runs to lift Bayonne to an 8-1 baseball victory over Linden on Friday. Paradine went 3-for-3 with a double and a home run for Bayonne (19-4), which scored five runs in the third inning to take a 6-0 lead. BAYONNE, NJ - Bayonne’s 16th Street Pool is getting an upgrade and will be open for the new summer season beginning on Saturday, June 17. The pool, in process of having a new liner installed, will remain open through Labor Day, Monday, September 4, as weather permits.  The pool is located on West 16th Street, west of Avenue A, on the upper level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park. BAYONNE, NJ - Nearly ten years after selling off its municipal utility assets, Bayonne officials appear poised to establish a new municipal water and wastewater utility. BAYONNE, NJ - Hundreds of people showed up for the May 6 march and opening day ceremonies at the 11 Street ball field, helping to kick off a new season of Buddy Baseball. This is the 7th season for a program that Recreation Director Pete Amadeo lobbied for after Jimmy Davis became Mayor in 2014.
