WEYMOUTH- With the pandemic driving record amounts of job loss, the Weymouth Food Pantry is getting a flood of requests from families that need help with finding Thanksgiving Day dinner amenities.Food Pantry Executive Director Pamela Denholm said 640 families had submitted registrations for Thanksgiving Day staples.“It is a 30 to 40 percent increase for us,” she said. “We usually serve about 375 families at Thanksgiving,”Denholm said any local ..read more
