Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged a Culver’s Restaurant in Fond du Lac. Shortly before 2am Friday firefighters were called to the West Pioneer Road Culver’s to find smoke showing from the roof. Crews were met by a construction company and opened holes in the ceiling to quickly extinguish the fire.  The fire caused smoke and water damage. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s top official has taken the first steps toward removing a faculty member who was earlier fired from his job as chancellor over his fledgling porn career. Bail has been set at $100,000 for a former Kewaskum School Resource Officer charged with beastiality in Fond du Lac County.   Steven Rosales of Campbellsport made his initial Fond du Lac Court  appearance Wednesday on three counts of beastiality.  He is accused of having sexual contact  with a pet female Golden Retriever dog.   A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 31.   Rosales is also charged in Washington County with sexual misconduct by a school staff member.   Bail was set at $40,000 cash in that case where he ..read more
