Bartow County SWAT removed 37-year-old Yihua Wiseman from her residence on Wilson Street in Acworth early Saturday morning after a five-hour incident that began on Friday night in which she reportedly threatened two people at the Lake Forest Country Club on the other side of her fence, lit a toilet paper roll on fire, and threw it into the woods, causing a fire. The Bartow County Fire Department helped to put the fire out. Woman Accused Of Murder at Collins Pointe Apartments

Cartersville Police booked a woman for murder on Monday morning. Officers responded to the report of a person stabbed at the Collins Pointe Apartments off Roving Road at around 10:47 on Sunday night and reportedly found a male in an apartment with a stab wound to the neck. First responders transported him to Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. On Thursday, March 14th, the Cartersville Police Department received a report of a possible inappropriate relationship between a Cartersville High School teacher and a student. On Tuesday, April 2nd, 53-year-old John Paul Snead of Kennesaw was taken into custody by Cartersville Police Department investigators. We now know the identities of both people killed in a series of crashes that led to the shutdown of I-75 two miles from the SR 140 exit in Adairsville for about five hours on Monday morning. The driver who was fleeing law enforcement was 15-year-old Jonathan McEvers from LaFayette, and the victim from the related crash was 33-year-old Michael Stout from Ohio. Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation crews will shift traffic on State Route 140 between Old Highway 140 and Big Ditch Road just west of Adairsville today through Friday from nine a.m. to five p.m. each day. A series of crashes led to the shutdown of I-75 before the SR 140 exit in Adairsville for about five hours and two fatalities on Monday morning.
