Paper towels and American flags: A group of apparent solicitors is showing up with these items in different neighborhoods throughout Fairfield in what some neighbors are calling a bizarre trend. There are at least three people in the group two women and one man who travel in the same car. It's usually a blue Chevy Avalanche but occasionally it's been a red van, neighbors told WCPO. "They pulled up and came up to my back door asking to clean my house, and my wife talked to them, and we ran them off and they'd been driving up and down the street all day that day," said Joseph Farquer, who lives ..read more

The idea to start a business that converts shipping containers into affordable homes started around a fire pit. Sandra Whitley and Allison Lyons never did light the fire, but the idea first discussed over the summer had been burned into motivation and now reality. It started this summer, but it really started about five years ago when she started bugging me to come home, Whitley said about Lyons concerning her move from Georgia back to southwest Ohio. But when I moved up here, it was to teach her. Teach my nieces how to do stuff that they dont need guys to do. I just want them to be independen ..read more
