A 54-year-old Ontario man admitted on Tuesday that he shot BB guns at a Pasadena Planned Parenthood nearly a dozen times and that he was carrying a loaded firearm during one of the attacks, according to the United States Department of Justice. Richard Royden Chamberlin, 54, will plead guilty to the BB gun shootings, which are in violation of the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, as well as possessing a .22-caliber handgun and ammunition while being a felon. The California Highway Patrol is drawing scrutiny for its treatment of a DUI suspect at a CHP maintenance yard in Altadena after the 38-year-old died while in custody. Officers were trying to get a court-ordered blood sample from Edward Bronstein, 38, which he initially refused.
