Former AristaCare resident and Linden senior Jane Kosa championed the new bingo machine cause. LINDEN, NJ — For the year 2024, the Bayway Complex Community Advisory Panel is offering high school seniors who are residents of Linden, Rahway, Elizabeth and Staten Island the opportunity to be awarded a CAP scholarship. Several one-year scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 each to students in these four municipalities represented by the CAP. LINDEN — On July 19, 2020, the son of Judge Esther Salas, Daniel Anderl, was shot and killed in their family home in North Brunswick by Roy Den Hollander. Den Hollander, a Manhattan lawyer and self-described antifeminist, had argued a civil rights suit before Salas in court. Motivated by hate, he found the judge’s personal information, posed as a FedEx driver and rang the doorbell of the judge’s home, hoping to confront Salas.
