The Stars Students of Linden High School will be performing and food will be sponsored by Tap Tap Haitian Restaurant located on St Georges Ave.
This event will take place at Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, located at 400 North Wood Avenue, Linden, NJ 07036. In the event of inclement weather, the Haitian Flag Day Celebration will be held at the John T. Gregorio Center, which is located at 330 Helen Street.

LINDEN, NJ — Several police officers were injured Wednesday afternoon following an incident near Linden High School involving 30 to 40 juveniles.
Police called some of the juveniles were “disorderly and aggressive.”
Linden Police tell TAPinto Linden officers pulled over a driver near 117 W. St. Georges Ave. During that stop, several juveniles were nearby squirting water guns and throwing water balloons at each other.

Linden, NJ-The Linden Health Department will be holding their third and final free dog and cat rabies vaccination clinic of 2023 on Saturday, May 20th, from 10am to 2pm at Firehouse #2 at 302 West St Georges Avenue. LINDEN, NJ — Some Linden High School students are being disciplined following a fight at the school Wednesday afternoon.
Linden Public Schools Interim Superintendent Dr. Rocco Tomazic confirmed to TAPinto Linden the fight happened while students where changing classes from one building to another. Linden Police responded to the school following the incident.
"Linden Public Schools has responded and gave out the proper discipline to the students involved," Tomazic said.
It's not known how many students were involved and how many were disciplined.

The Linden Police Youth Academy will be held July 17 - 21. It is structured to offer Linden students graduating 6th, 7th, & 8th grades an opportunity to learn about the Linden Police Department and receive basic training in police operations & procedures, criminal investigations, drill & ceremony, and first aid in a simulated police academy environment.
