Severe Storms Damage Portions of East Midwest City On Saturday, April 27, 2024, severe storms left a path of damage in eastern Midwest City from SE 29th St. at Westminster to an area near Reno & Hiwassee Rd. Early reports that came in were of downed power lines and wind damage to trees and structures in the path of the storm.  Midwest City has no reports of injuries related to the storm at this time. City emergency personnel do anticipate finding more debris and damage as assessments are made by public safety personnel on Sunday, April 28.    ..read more
