Petaluma has suspended the permit of a downtown bar where five bouncers were recently arrested on suspicion of beating a patron. The city confirms Jamison’s Roaring Donkey was served a 20-day suspension notice last Thursday, with the suspension taking effect last Friday. City officials say the suspension is because the bar has failed to comply with the terms of its conditional use permit, since it’s operating without an approved security plan. A missing Petaluma man has been found alive and well in Ukiah. Last Monday, 67-year-old Steven Allen was reported as a missing person from a skilled nursing facility in Petaluma. As law enforcement investigated, it was believed Allen had left the facility voluntarily and was possibly attempting to return to Ukiah. Last Thursday, Allen was spotted on surveillance footage entering a business in Ukiah. Petaluma city officials are in the process of shutting down a downtown bar after a patron was allegedly beaten by bouncers. The five hired security guards were arrested last Saturday night, following an incident with a man at Jamison’s Roaring Donkey. A 22-year-old Rohnert Park man has been identified as the driver who died in a Lakeville Highway crash on April 16th. The crash occurred just outside of Petaluma and claimed the life of Angel Avalos. He was driving northbound just south of Old Lakeville Road No. 3 when he swerved to avoid stopped traffic. A man has been arrested after recording a woman jogging in Petaluma and then trying to evade police. On the evening of April 10th, police received reports of a man in a black pickup truck following a woman who was jogging along 4th and D streets. When police located the truck, the driver, Jarrod Allen McQueen, didn’t yield but sped away going over 75 miles-per-hour in a residential neighborhood. Five security guards have been arrested on suspicion of beating a customer at a popular bar and nightclub in Petaluma. The men, all between the ages of 25 and 31, were arrested after an incident at Jamison’s Roaring Donkey on Saturday night. The 41st annual parade’s theme is “Greener Pastures” and will celebrate the importance of sustainability and preserving the beauty of Petaluma and the planet. One person has died and four people are injured after a multi-vehicle crash just east of Petaluma. Tuesday afternoon, a Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Lakeville Highway and was approaching stopped traffic. For unknown reasons, the 22-year-old driver failed to slow down and swerved to the left to try to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of him.
