Casio has revealed that some of its corporate systems and services are still damaged and personal information has been compromised, after a ransomware attack over a week ago.
The Japanese electronics giant claimed in a notice on Friday that it was alerted to an unauthorized intrusion after a system failure on October 5 rendered several systems unusable.

It’s a tale as old as… the Internet of Things era. Robot vacuums made by Ecovacs have been reported roving around people’s homes, yelling profanities at them through the onboard speakers after the company’s software was found to be vulnerable to intrusion.

This should protect against all kind of UAC bypasses:
Administrator protection is an upcoming platform security feature in Windows 11, which aims to protect free floating admin rights for administrator users allowing them to still perform all admin functions with just-in-time admin privileges. This feature is off by default and needs to be enabled via group policy.
