Hey CQU!
We are back with another review today, this time to spread light to Beautifully Warm, a Black-Family Owned Brand.
I’ve been holding onto this gem for 2 years now!
Before BW, I was not wearing hats even if I wanted to. I just knew that my type 4 hair would get dry and brittle under any regular beanie or baseball cap.
Beautifully Warm brings affordable, functional, and fashiona ..read more

Welcome back to CQU! Today’s topic is a bit different than the usual.
You and I both know that there are some hair and skincare topics that I’d like to share but there’s also a need for work in the U.S right now.

Anyway, with that being said, I would like to share so ..read more

Do you really know how to properly moisturize your natural hair?
That may seem like a simple question for some but for a lot of us, it can be confusing.
We can get so caught up with hair typing using numbers and letters to depict what strands are the best match, that we forget about actually knowing what our hair porosity is.
Knowing your hair porosity and creating a haircare regimen based around your ..read more

So, I know that you have read this title and may already have some concerns about henna, but if you let me explain the goodness that henna brings to hair growth then you won’t be disappointed.
Henna Assumptions
Henna lacks its recognition in helping with hair growth. Many women have negative thoughts about how it affects hair in general such as:

Can we all agree that some of us can be extremist when it comes to the health of our hair, we either take care of it to the point we eat, drink, sleep natural hair or we go to hair salons to allow someone else to take care of it, OR or orr, some of us really don't care about the health of our hair??? Having the habit of only treating our hair externally from home or a salon, we often forget about nutrition playing a huge role in our hair growth. I guess it is true when they s ..read more
