A Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy has been charged with stealing cash from a driver she pulled over in Whittier last year. Deputy Jessica Lynn, 39, pulled over a driver for having an allegedly excessive window tinting at about 2:45 a.m. on April 15, 2023, in the 10400 block of Whittier Boulevard. The driver did not have a valid license, and when Lynn searched the vehicle, she found a coin purse containing money. Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a shooting that left two people dead and one critically injured in Whittier.  On Tuesday, the suspect was identified as Noe Urias Perez, 33, according to the Whittier Police Department. Loved ones are searching for a teenager who disappeared in Whittier on Feb. 5. The missing teen was identified as Christopher Herrera, 18, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Herrera was last seen on the 13900 block of Coteau Drive at around 8:30 p.m. He is described as a Hispanic male standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds.
