Ermalee A. Harris: 1929 – 2023
Ermalee Ann (Havens) Harris passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023, at age 94, at her home in Casper, Wyoming. Ermalee (Tinky to her family) was born in Kimball, Nebraska on September 1, 1929, to Floyd and Leona (Ackerson) Havens. She was the youngest daughter of eight children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy.
She is survived by five daughters: Sharon, Sandy, Susie, Sindy, and Sheryl; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
A service of remembrance will be held in Cheyenne, December 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel ..read more

CASPER, Wyo. — Wyoming students will display their creative engineering skills in Casper this week during the state’s first LEGO League Masterpiece Championship.
Opening ceremonies begin at 8 a.m. at the Ford Wyoming Center on Saturday, Dec. 2.

CASPER, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees recently approved a new Bachelor of Science degree program in ranch management and agricultural leadership, or RMAL.

CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper City Council faces a decision on the future renovation and expansion of the Ford Wyoming Center (FWC), with city staff seeking direction on proposed enhancements for the facility.

CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation is urging motorists to use caution when driving around snowplows this winter season, as three plows were recently involved in wrecks in quick succession.
“We have already seen three snowplows hit in four days, a concerning trend as the winter season is just getting started,” said Tim Morton, maintenance engineer for District 1, which covers southeast Wyoming.
