Indianapolis: A rain SURPLUS and snow DEFICIT Sunday marked the seventh consecutive day with measurable rain at the Indianapolis airport. From January 22-28, IND received 2.18" of rain (0.20" today). FISHERS, Ind. – Bimbo the deer was becoming something of a celebrity in this city after he was spotted palling around with two husky dogs. A family in Fishers started caring for the fawn last summer after finding him along the side of the road, away from his mother and close to traffic. FISHERS, Ind.– A man was killed in a crash early Monday morning, according to police in Fishers. The Fishers Police Department (FPD) said officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of State Road 37 near 135th Street shortly after 3:30 a.m. FPD said the crash involved a Dodge Charger and Toyota Scion. Officers found a man trapped inside the Toyota suffering from critical injuries. He was taken to an area hospital by Fishers EMS and later died from those injuries. Arrest made after Carmel woman killed by alleged drunk driver

FISHERS, Ind. -- The Fishers Police Department (FPD) arrested an alleged drunk driver after a deadly crash Saturday. According to FPD, officers responded to 116th Street near Belle Plaine Blvd. around 1:30 a.m. on October 17. Police said the deadly crash involved a blue Mercedes passenger car and a white Toyota passenger car. Police found both vehicles in the eastbound lanes of 116th Street, and the Toyota was fully engulfed in flames. The driver of the Toyota, a 57-year-old Carmel woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
