A brush fire burned at least 15 acres and prompted an evacuation order Monday in Vacaville, firefighters said. The blaze was near Cherry Glen and Pleasants Valley roads. The fire prompted an evacuation order for the following areas: North of Cherry Glenn Road, South of Foothill Drive, East of Pleasants Valley Road, west of city limits. A fire destroyed a home in the North Bay Monday, firefighters said. It started with a car fire near Vacaville which spread into dry grass, then multiple structures, firefighters said. Firefighters are battling a brush fire in the area of Buena Vista Lane and Timm Road in Vacaville. Evacuation orders are in place for residents north of Cantelow Road, south of Peaceful Glen Road, east of Dove Creek Trail, and west of Timm Road due to a vegetation fire, officials said.
