NORWALK (CBSLA) – A driver lost control of a car on the 105 Freeway offramp in Norwalk early Wednesday morning, sending it careening through a brick wall and crashing into a vacant home, knocking out power to nearly 200 Southern California Edison customers in the process. NORWALK (CBSLA) – A deputy-involved shooting occurred Thursday night in the 12000 block of Foster Road in Norwalk, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. Feb. 17, 2022 (CBSLA) Authorities said deputies with the Safe Streets gang unit fired on a suspect, hitting him. He then ran into a nearby home and has, so far, refused to come out. NORWALK (CBSLA) — Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigators were called to the scene of a fatal shooting in Norwalk Thursday. When paramedics were first dispatched just after 12:30 p.m., the found a man dead at the scene. The incident reportedly occurred on Firestone Boulevard. Authorities did not report any arrests made in the incident, nor did they release any potential suspect information. NORWALK (CBSLA) — Authorities conducting a routine traffic stop in Norwalk ended up confiscating a firearm that was in possession of an ex-convict on Friday. NORWALK (CBSLA) — Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle suspect on Wednesday evening. According to an initial report from authorities, they had pulled the suspect over when it fled from the scene of the traffic stop, leading authorities on a chase beginning at just around 9:20 p.m. on the Southbound 5 Freeway. NORWALK (CBSLA) – A four car traffic collision occurred Sunday in Norwalk near the intersection of Foster and Studebaker Roads, according to officials at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Norwalk station. The LA County Fire Department responded to calls about the crash at approximately 10:39 a.m. Authorities with the fire department said that three patients were transported to trauma centers, though their conditions were unknown.
