Nevada State Police identify northern California man who died in I-80 crash in Fernley

Nevada State Police has identified a Northern California man who died in a fatal crash last month on I-80 in Fernley. Joshua Fitzgerald, a 31-year-old man from Mount Shasta, Calif., died from injuries from the crash that happened April 16. He died later on April 24, according to Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol Division. The preliminary investigation indicates that a gray 2013 Dodge Ram was traveling eastbound on the IR80 in the far left (number one) travel lane near Mile Marker 53.
