Round Rock City Council approved a street maintenance contract at its April 11 meeting that will improve the state of several neighborhood roads throughout the City The $8.9 million contract with Bennett Paving, Inc. will provide for repairs to several roads within the Dove Creek, Twin Ridge, and Greenslopes at Lake Creek neighborhoods. The work includes milling and new asphalt overlay, pavement patching, and failed curb, sidewalk and driveway approach repairs. The City of Round Rock’s Emergency Management Division is inviting the community to participate in the upcoming Hazard Mitigation Action Plan (HMAP) update process through a series of public meetings and a survey.
