The Cleaning Lady Season 3 Episode 5 thrives on keeping us—and Thony—in a state of constant anxiety. Not only is it nerve-racking that she has a court date that will determine whether or not she can keep Luca, but when her interview with CPS’ Susan nears, Luca is nowhere to be found.  Thony tries to play it off as though he’s just running late, but when Fi and JD return home without him, it’s pretty clear that something else is going on. I’ll take extremely frustrating Chicago PD episodes for $500.  Because yeah, Chicago PD Season 11 Episode 8 was the definition of the word frustrating. The issue wasn’t with the storyline, as it was strong and kept viewers on their toes, but it was the characters’ poor decisions that made you let out a deep groan.  If your infant goes missing, you damn well better tell the police everything you know and everything that can help them locate your child. Chicago Med delivers some quirky storylines on occasion—with Tyler, an expecting father who claimed to have telepathy being one of them on Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 8. Of course, none of the doctors were actually convinced that Tyler could “communicate” with his unborn child, chalking up his instinct that the baby was in distress to pure coincidence, however, they also weren’t successful in convincing him that he needed to get an MRI to rule out possibly debilitating diseases like MS. The Cleaning Lady Season 3 Episode 4 concluded Fiona and Chris’ (and Camilla’s) grueling journey back home—but not before putting them through the wringer.  The trek to America is not for the faint of heart, especially when you get kicked out of the transportation truck in the middle of the desert. Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 7 found some of the doctors at odds with each other over treatment plans for their patients.  Crockett and Dr. Washington (Sharon Goodwin’s beau) didn’t agree on how to pursue Hillary’s case after Marcel found a tumor lodged in her neck. Well, that’s truly a disappointment.  Chicago PD Season 11 Episode 7 focused on Voight’s quest to find the serial killer in Chicago who targeted Noah Gorman, the teen who was now staying with him and working through his trauma.  But despite Voight’s best efforts, he couldn’t keep Noah safe—and he was no closer to finding the killer in question.  There was some momentum on the case when a beat cop found a barrel floating by the lake with two bodies inside, both of their eyes pried open just like Noah’s when Voight found him.  The victims, two sisters named Izzy and Maria, le ..read more

The Cleaning Lady is getting messier by the minute, but—and again, through no fault of their own—the spark that it once had is missing this season. There’s not much hope left in the series, aside from Thony getting a little bit of a break when her building’s handyman comes around to help her clean up a mess from a break-in.
