Planning a theatrical season can be similar to a bride planning her wedding day by following the old adage “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” At least that’s how Curtain Call’s executive director, Lou Ursone, explains it as the busy theatre company launches its new season.

Stamford Public Schools announces its participation in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for school year 2023-24. All students enrolled in SPS District may participate in the breakfast and lunch program at no charge. Household applications are not required to receive free meals, but alternate income forms may be distributed to collect household income data for other programs that require this information. The CEP is part of the federally funded National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.

The Stamford Chorale announced that it will resume rehearsals on Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 20 Forest St., Stamford. Open rehearsals continue on Sept. 12 and Sept.19.
Singers in all voice parts, especially basses and tenors, are invited.
