I was very fortunate to start my medical career in Everett in 1977. We had an outstanding medical staff, two excellent hospitals, and a wonderful and diverse community to serve. Two of the original eight “Sisters of Providence” were still alive and often attended medical staff, and Community Board meetings. I was honored to have known them. This news about Providence Health Systems shortchanging its employees is very discouraging!
