RICHARDSON (CBSDFW.COM) — Officials with Walmart have made the decision to close another North Texas store to allow the facility to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. The Walmart store in Richardson, at 1501 Buckingham Road, will close at 2:00 p.m. on January 7 and will remain closed through Jan. 8. PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) – A man was arrested in Wylie in connection to a double murder in Plano. Police officers found the victims, a man and a woman, with multiple gunshot wounds on Oct. 27 inside a home in the 5800 block of Mulvane Drive. RICHARDSON (CBSDFW.COM) — COVID-19 cases are surging in schools across North Texas, forcing some districts to return their campuses to online learning. Brentfield Elementary School in Richardson is among the latest. The district currently has a 6th grade student in the ICU with COVID-19.
