ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – Five teens received citations for fifth-degree assault following an incident at Apollo High School in St. Cloud last week.
The St. Cloud Police Department says the school’s administration and resource officer learned about the assault Thursday afternoon, shortly after it allegedly happened in one of the school bathrooms.
An investigation that included a video of the incident determined that the 15-year-old boy had gone to meet another 15-year-old boy in the bathroom to settle a disagreement.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) — Police say two people were hit during a shooting in a park in St. Cloud Sunday evening.
Officers from the St. Cloud Police Department responded to Haws Park just after 5 p.m., finding multiple vehicles and people leaving the park.
Officers learned someone fired a gun during a fight, and that someone had possibly been hit. No victims were found at the scene, nor was a suspect.
Around 5:20 p.m., two men showed up at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds. A 21-year-old man had been shot in the buttocks, and a 28-year-old man’s arm was grazed by a bullet.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Authorities in St. Cloud are searching for a driver after a hit-and-run Friday where a 7-year-old boy was struck while skateboarding.
The St. Cloud Police Department says the hit-and-run happened around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of 7th Avenue South and 11 Street South, near Haws Park. The boy was riding south on 7th when he was hit by a car going west on 11th Street.
The car did not stop after the collision and fled the area immediately.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – A man faces second-degree aiding and abetting murder charges after another man was fatally shot in the head in St. Cloud in late May.
Paul Ervin Coleman, 52, was arrested on May 26 in St. Cloud. Another 42-year-old man from St. Cloud was arrested on Saturday in Chicago, and awaits extradition back to Minnesota. WCCO-TV does not typically name suspects until they are formally charged.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – A man died on Tuesday evening after he was shot in the head in St. Cloud.
According to the St. Cloud Police Department, officers arrived to the 1200 block of 10th Avenue South around 7:45 p.m.
There, they found the victim shot in the head. He was taken to the hospital, but later died.
Officials say the suspects left in a car right after the shooting. The suspect vehicle was found later that evening.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) — Police in St. Cloud are asking the public to avoid the scene of a standoff Tuesday morning.
The city’s police department said its officers and the Violent Offender Task Force were executing a search warrant on the 2700 block of 16th Street South.
Police said the suspect, a man, was inside an apartment and uncooperative. Authorities have established a perimeter.
