A Lakewood woman is recovering after spending several hours pinned underneath her crashed truck. A good Samaritan is being credited with possibly saving her life. Rachael Hammack, 27, was driving home from work on W. Morrison Road last Tuesday around 2:30 a.m. when the crash happened. The truck she was driving veered off the road toward Fox Hollow Golf Course, rolled multiple times, and came to a rest on a field next to the golf course, 100 yards from the roadway and hidden from view. LAKEWOOD, Colo. A 63-year-old man with a cognitive impairment has been missing from the Lakewood and Wheat Ridge area since Friday afternoon. Leo Hudgens was last seen around 3 p.m. leaving the area of W. 38th Avenue and N. Lutheran Parkway in Wheat Ridge, according to a senior alert issued by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Maureen Schoeneke, 67, was last seen around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Ingalls Street in Lakewood. Schoeneke is 5 feet 3 inches tall and 86 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. A person of interest was detained late Thursday afternoon in connection with several small fires that ignited at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood as warm and dry weather conditions raised the fire risk for much of the Denver metro area. There are no signs and someones always tailgating me, no matter how fast I go.
