LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – A magnitude 3.4 earthquake shook Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga early Tuesday morning. March 22, 2022. (USGS) The earthquake struck at 3:33 a.m. about three miles east of the Ontario city center, five miles south of Rancho Cucamonga and 6.8 miles southeast of Fontana, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was near Jurupa Street and Commerce Parkway in Ontario. It occurred at a depth of 4.5 miles. ONTARIO (CBSLA) — Police are searching for a shooting suspect who wounded multiple victims at an Ontario Inn. According to the Ontario Police Department, the shooting happened at about 4:30 p.m. at the Best Ontario Inn on the 1000 W. block of Mission Avenue. Police said three men were shot and transported to the hospital. The shooting occurred after two groups got into an argument. ONTARIO (CBSLA) — Strong winds and heavy rain uprooted trees in Ontario, one of which landed and crushed an apartment complex.  “It sounded like a freight train coming through,” said neighbor Diane Ramirez. “It was sitting in my car and the who car was shaking.
