MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman has died after a house fire Thursday morning in Muskegon. The fire started before 7 a.m. on South Getty Street near East Laketon Avenue. The Muskegon Fire Department confirmed a 69-year-old died in the fire. The department did not release her name. The home is a total loss, fire officials confirmed. MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a man and two teens were injured in a shooting in Muskegon Tuesday night. The Muskegon Police Department said shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday that it responded to a report of a shooting on Laketon Avenue near the intersection of Seaway Drive. When officers arrived, the police department said everyone had left the scene. Officers later found a 17-year-old walking in the area with a gunshot wound. BLUE LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man who was driving a 4-wheeler was hospitalized following a crash on Friday in Blue Lake Township. Around noon, deputies with the Muskegon County Sheriff's Office were sent to the area of Louisa Road and Forest Road for a crash involving an ORV. MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WOOD) — The city of Muskegon Heights said its water tested negative for bacteria after a drop in water system pressure prompted a boil advisory.
