DENVER (AP) — Colorado’s secretary of state has appointed a supervisor to monitor Tuesday’s primary elections in a third county after some residents received ballots with wrong state House districts and others received ballots that didn’t include a county commissioner’s race. The state Republican Party had called for supervision of the Democratic clerk and recorder’s office in Pueblo County after Secretary of State Jena Griswold, a Democrat, appointed supervisors to oversee elections in two other counties where GOP clerks were accused of tampering with voting equipment. PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4)– The two people who died in a coal slide accident earlier this week in Pueblo have been identified. The Pueblo County Coroner has identified the employees as Kyle Bussey, 28, of Pueblo and Phillip Roberts, 36, of Canon City. They died of injuries on Thursday at a coal-fired electricity generating plant in Pueblo. Kyle Bussey, 28, of Pueblo and Phillip Roberts, 36, of Canon City died of injuries sustained in an industrial accident at 2005 Lime Road in Pueblo, on 6/2. PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) – The investigation into a slide that killed two workers Thursday at a coal-fired electricity generating plant in Pueblo is underway. Rescuers found the bodies of the two men buried beneath about 60 feet of coal at the Comanche Generating Station. The slide happened on an 80-foot-high coal pile. PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) – Pueblo Police say two people are trapped in a coal pile at the Comanche Power Plant. Officers got a 911 call about a “landslide” on Thursday morning. A technical rescue team from the Pueblo Fire Department are working to rescue the victims described as employees of a sub-contractor called Savage. (CBS4) — Colorado Parks & Wildlife investigators recovered a body early Tuesday morning near the area of where a boat capsized on Lake Pueblo recently, also killing a woman, 38-year-old Jessica Prindle, and injuring 11 others. (AP/CBS4) — A boat capsized on a Colorado lake Sunday night, leaving one woman dead, 11 people hospitalized and one man missing. Eight adults and five children were on the large, flat boat near a picnic area at Lake Pueblo State Park over the Memorial Day holiday weekend when high winds apparently overturned the boat, authorities say.
