Two people were transported following a two-car collision that occurred near the intersection of Golden Valley Road and Centre Pointe Parkway on Tuesday evening, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.  “We got on scene at 7:46 p.m.,” said Supervisor Travis White, adding that authorities arrived on the scene at 7:41 p.m. “Everybody cleared it at 8:39 p.m. Looks like we may have two to a local hospital.”  Information on the two individuals transported and the extent of their injuries was not immediately made available.  No additional information is available as of th ..read more

A San Diego law firm recently joined the frenzy of legal action against Chiquita Canyon Landfill, with L.A. Hart Union High School District recognized at last week’s governing board meeting the Castaic Coyotes boys’ basketball team and Valencia freshman wrestler Slater Hicks for their postseason successes. Castaic won the CIF Southern Section Division 5AA championship earlier this year in just the program’s third season of varsity competition. News release  Blue Heat, the Saugus High School show choir team, ended its competition season on April 12 with a first-place finish out of seven in the mixed division Tier IV at John Burroughs Music Showcase 2024 in Burbank.
