Kool-Aid McKinstry and Chris Braswell were once teammates on the Alabama Crimson Tide… Now the two men are rivals. During the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft both McKinstry and Braswell were drafted by NFC South rivals. McKinstry was first to come off the board as the New Orleans Saints decided to bolster up their secondary by drafting him with the 41st overall pick. The warning process has changed tremendously over the past 12 years with the advancement of Doppler radar. The National Weather Service in Birmingham upgraded their radar to dual pol radar in February of 2012, which is a game changer in the warning process. By: WVUA 23’s Jabaree Prewitt Tuscaloosa Police is investigating another shooting. It happened just after 7 P.M. at 1805 8th Avenue at French Quarter Apartments in Tuscaloosa. Investigators say the shooting happened during a fight between two men. The shooting victim was shot in the buttocks. He was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
